TIGER TRI - EVENT BASICS

  • Classification:  Sprint & Super Sprint Triathlon

  • Race Options:

    • Classic Sprint - 300 Yard Swim, 12.2 Mile Bike, 3.1 Mile Run

    • Super Sprint - 150 Yard Swim, 6.1 Mile Bike, 1.5 Mile Run

    • The Double (both distances above)

    • Relay Sprint (2 or 3 persons)

    • Clydesdale Sprint (Men 220+ lbs)

    • Athena Sprint (Women 165+ lbs)

  • Classic Sprint Age Groups: 

    • ​16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+ (M&F)

  • Divisions:

    • ​Elite â–ª Clydesdales (Males 200+ lbs) 39 & Under/40 & Over â–ª Athena (Females 150+lbs) â–ª Teams (2 or 3 People)

  • Awards:

    • ​Awards will be given to the top three males & females in Classic Sprint Only. In Classic Sprint, each age group listed above and the top three in each of the divisions listed above.

    • Super Sprint awards will only be presented for Overall Male and Overall Female.

  • 5:15 a.m. - 6:00 a.m.:  Race Day Packet Pick-Up & Late Registration 

     (Be prepared for long lines if you choose to pick your packet up or register on race day!) 

  • 5:15 a.m. - 6:50 a.m.:  Transition Area & Body Marking Open

  • 6:15 a.m. - 6:45 a.m.:  Aquatic Center Pool Open for Warm-Up

  • 6:55 a.m.:  Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting (Aquatic Center Pool Deck)

  • 7:00 a.m.:  Tiger Tri Super Sprint Race Start

  • 7:10 a.m.:  (Approximately) Tiger Tri Sprint Race Start

  • 8:00 a.m.:  Post-Race Food & Beverage Open

  • 9:30 a.m.:  Award Ceremony (Time Subject to Change)

  • 11:00 a.m.:  Race Course Closes

  • 11:00 a.m.:  Republic Aquatic Center Open for All to Enjoy!
